Sacramento State is partnering with SAFE Credit Union to expand financial wellness education tailored to adult learners. This is the first in a set of 3 free workshop series, designed for alumni and adult learners throughout the community seeking to continue their education and add important financial skills.

Session 1: Tools for financial decision making and the facts about Bankruptcy - Tuesday, May 24, 12-1 p.m.

Session 2: Why is home or renters insurance important? And Income tax basics - Tuesday, May 31, 12-1 p.m.

Session 3: How to avoid living paycheck to paycheck – Personal budgeting and savings/emergency funds - Tuesday, June 7, 12-1 p.m.

Kenneth Carson '10 (Business/Operations Mgmt) (Senior Sales Representative @Liberty Mutual Insurance) After graduating from Sacramento State, Kenneth started his insurance career with Traveler's in 2012. This path led him to Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2014 where he now serves as a Senior Sales Representative. During college he managed the local Mikuni Japanese Restaurant. Reflecting on his time on campus, he used the concepts learned from Business Marketing, Organization Management, and even Business Law every single day.
